REVOLUTION Turbine Technologies took home the $10k top prize. The startup’s helping today’s oil & gas operators reduce their climate impact by leveraging smart waste-energy recovery to generate emission-free power for remote operations.
Kanin Energy, which is making waste-heat-to-power a reality for heavy industry through a business-model innovation, won a day-long consulting workshop with BCG X.
CalWave Power Technologies received the fan favorite prize: pro bono legal consultation provided by O'Melveny & Myers. Learn about its proprietary wave energy converter, which is unlocking carbon-free power from ocean waves.

Ambient Fuels secured $250M in project financing from Generate Capital Partners for its growing pipeline of green hydrogen infrastructure projects.
Applied Bioplastics announced $60M+ in non-binding LOIs with EarthGrid and another partner. It also received a $400k investment from GoAhead Ventures for its economically sustainable, plant-based plastic alternatives.
Kara Branch of Black Girls Do Engineer and Fredric Navarre of ALLY Energy were selected for the Houston Business Journal's 40 Under 40 list.

Greentown Go Build 2023: This program with Saint-Gobain is accepting applications through Aug. 31! Go Build 2023 will focus on enabling circularity and decarbonizing the built environment by revolutionizing buildings, old and new.
