What a week it has been for climate action! The historic Inflation Reduction Act is a turning point for the country and will have an outsized impact on Texas, with our state expected to receive a whopping $66.5B of the bill’s $269B climate and energy allocation. This will have a massive impact on the work of our 66 member companies. We hope you’ll celebrate the passage of this landmark bill with us at tonight’s Transition On Tap—come join us for a drink, some pizza, and great company!

You can also hear directly from some of our amazing member startups at our Access to Success pitch event on Sept. 14. Start your day with pitches from members, including Pressure Corp, CLS Wind, Carbonext, Intention, Boxes, and more. The pitches will be followed by a startup showcase and a networking lunch. Also in September, you can’t miss the culmination of our Low-Carbon Hydrogen Accelerator—the 2022 program in the Greentown Go Energize track. Join us for the program’s Final Showcase on Sept. 29 to hear how the first-of-its-kind startup-corporate partnerships accelerator—with EPRI, Shell, the City of Houston, Greentown, and the Urban Future Lab at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering—has enabled the startup participants Advanced Ionics, Arco Technologies, Clean Power, Element Resources, Smartpipe Technologies, SPEC Sensors, and RUNWITHIT Synthetics to advance their low-carbon hydrogen solutions.
