We’re less than 30 days away from the Houston Energy and Climate Startup Week!

This week—of which Greentown is a lead partner—brings together leading energy and climate investors, industry leaders, and startups from around the world to showcase the most innovative companies and technologies that are transforming the energy industry while driving a sustainable, low-carbon future. We’re excited to host two events during the week:

🌍 Sept. 17: From Local to Global: Helping Climatetech Startups Succeed Internationally

Expanding across borders can bring big growth for startups, but it comes with regulatory, cultural, and operational challenges. Join us for perspectives from a U.S.-born climatetech startup that successfully expanded abroad, a startup incubator supporting Nordic ventures, and a representative from Australia offering governmental insight into international support frameworks.

🤝 Sept. 18: ACCEL Year 3 Showcase

Robots that bring EV charging to your car. A metal-air battery designed for microgrids. Bioplastics made from potato starch. These are just a few of the innovations being developed through ACCEL, our accelerator with Browning the Green Space for BIPOC and other underrepresented founders. Meet them at this year's showcase, made possible by Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati!

In addition to startup pitches and networking, this event will feature a panel titled “Transitioning into Climatetech as an Underrepresented Founder” and remarks from Greentown’s CEO Georgina Campbell Flatter.
