Most carbon conversion systems depend on purified CO2 from a few clean sources, limiting their real-world use. Turnover makes it possible for industrial sites to convert their own mixed emissions into valuable products instead of releasing them. Our membrane-embedded electrolyzer merges separate CO2 purification and conversion steps into one simple, energy-efficient process. By integrating selective membranes directly within the reactor, the system resists corrosion, maintains high performance on impurity-rich gas streams, and eliminates costly pre-treatment or extra equipment. The result is a more durable, compact, and affordable path to carbon conversion that fits easily into existing industrial operations.
