SOLAR MATERIALS is a recycling company specializing in the recovery of all valuable raw materials from end-of-life solar panels. SOLAR MATERIALS is the first to enable full material recovery, including critical materials like silver and silicon. With a current recycling capacity of 7,000 tons per year, SOLAR MATERIALS is scaling its operations to meet the growing global demand for sustainable solar panel recycling and the recovery of critical materials. SOLAR MATERIALS has developed a mechanical recycling process that enables the complete recovery of all raw materials from end-of-life solar panels. The recovered secondary raw materials have, on average, an 80% lower CO₂ footprint and require up to 95% less energy compared to primary raw materials. By increasing its recycling capacity to 14,000 tons of solar modules per year by 2026, Solar Materials significantly contributes to a circular and low-carbon solar industry around the globe.
